Going the Distance

I guess I’ll start by apologising for leaving you guys in radio silence for so long. One of my main reasons for this blog was to have a strong sense of accountability for myself as a poker player. I’ve come too far to stop now, better late than never.

A lot has happened. Basically since I stopped the vlogs in April of 2015 I’ve been stuck in something of a life and poker rut that has been very tough to escape. This annotated graph pretty much sums up everything.

In my time away from the tables I’ve been doing lots of soul searching and trying new things. That said I don’t see myself posting new content anymore. At least not in the way I used too. Going forward I would prefer to be something closer to the grey man. But I owe it to you guys to give you one last video and my formal retirement.

I still grind full time but I have a lot of figuring out to do about this crazy thing called life. Thanks for following along and I wish you all the best.

  1. That’s one of the craziest graphs I have ever seen. Huge props for simply surviving that. Good luck in whatever you do man, that EV is gonna come back your way.

  2. Thanks for the post. I hope that you would still update the blog though. It has been a good read and shame if you stop.

  3. Would love to keep following your adventures Tonna, but i understand. Best of luck in life.

  4. TY man, Ship IT!

  5. never give up! what a story!! keep going

  6. always loved your blogs, sad to see an end to them. gl in future

  7. Hey, Tonna…
it was pretty cool to read your blog, watch your vlogs all those pictures and stuff. But as the quote said, life is how it is.

    great post, man.
Get back to this blog thing, probably you’ve got much more to write and share.
